Color-Ometry
A downloadable Survival Sandbox for Windows and Linux
Remember, if you can think about it, you can create it, you just need a little bit of motivation.
Welcome to the latest Squig Project!
Color-Ometry is an exciting new game I’ve been developing to explore the creative possibilities of my imagination. This project is a personal experiment, a way to push the boundaries of my own game design skills while crafting a unique and challenging experience for players.
At its core, the game is deceptively simple: your primary objective is to survive for as long as possible on a procedurally generated map. The map's layout, hazards, and opportunities are different every time, ensuring no two playthroughs are ever the same.
Sounds like a walk in the park? Think again!
Once you reach the pivotal 200-second mark, the game takes a dramatic turn. From that moment onward, an unrelenting swarm of enemies will begin spawning endlessly. The tension escalates as the screen fills with chaos, and you're forced to rely on quick thinking, precise movements, and unwavering determination.
Victory is not an option—only endurance matters. The game ends under one of two circumstances:
A. Your character succumbs to the relentless onslaught of enemies.
B. The sheer intensity of the action overwhelms your system, causing the game to crash.
Color-Ometry isn’t just a test of survival; it’s a test of how far you’re willing to push yourself in the face of increasing odds. It’s fast-paced, unpredictable, and bursting with vibrant energy—just like the creative process behind its development.
Are you ready to dive into the colorful chaos and see how long you can last?
FAQ
Can we, the player base, suggest new features to be added to Color-Ometry?
Yes! You can suggest features through this form link: https://forms.office.com/r/WgVvfPWsFe
What are your biggest goals with this game?
I don't exactly have an answer to that question, since this game likely won't ever have an actual story.
Is a team of people working on this?
Nope, just me. Although I do plan of having some of my friends help with assets and/or playtesting at some point.
Is there any way we can support you financially?
There are currently 2 primary ways to do that, if you so desire:
- You can buy me a coffee
- You can use Itch.io's Donation system, since this game allows donations.
